Gallery overview
Founded in 1969, Galerie Jacques Barrère is located in the heart of Paris, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. The gallery specialises in Chinese sculpture, archaeology, ceramics and decorative arts, as well as Japanese sculpture and porcelain. Statuary art from Gandhara, India and Southeast Asia is also regularly displayed. A sister gallery, Barrère Hong Kong, was founded in 2013 to serve better Asian collectors and to promote and preserve Far Eastern art. Barrère Hong Kong is a member of the A.S.A.A. (Association of Specialists in Asian Art), the C.N.E. (National Company of Experts), and S.N.A. (National Syndicate of Antique Dealers).
