Chang’s Oriental Art specialises in antique Chinese huanghuali and zitan furniture, bamboo and wood carvings, lacquer wares, and other scholar’s objects. Director Fu Chuan’s fine and exacting eye for antiques has won the trust and support of many collectors. Chang’s collection has been assembled over the years from the USA, Europe, Japan, China, and other parts of the world, and has been exhibited at Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and other major international auction houses. The gallery has also been invited to participate in the planning and design of numerous special exhibitions involving Taiwan’s most prestigious collectors and museums.
