Hong Kong SAR Government was Guest of Honour at the
Private Preview of Fine Art Asia 2021

 

The Hon Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS, Chief Executive, was Guest of Honour at the Private Preview of Fine Art Asia 2021 on Thursday, 7 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Fine Art Asia 2021 is Asia’s leading international fine art fair, showcasing 5,000 years of cultural history. On display at the fair are Asian and Western antiques, including ancient Chinese and Himalayan bronzes, Chinese and Japanese ceramics, textiles, jades, lacquer, classical Chinese furniture and scholar’s objects. The fair also boasts masterpieces of modern and contemporary art; exquisite Chinese ink paintings, fine designed art jewellery; Chinese Japanese and Korean crafts; decorative arts and design; rare fine minerals; and photography.

 

The Hon Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS, Chief Executive, visited the booth shared by Andy Hei Ltd. (Hong Kong), Nicholas Grindley (New York/London) and Pine’s Art (Shanghai/Taipei). This is a unique collaboration with two overseas galleries participating remotely due to travel restrictions. From left:

The Hon Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBM, GBS Chief Executive enjoyed a special musical duet on Chinese erhu and digital piano, performed in her honour at the Hong Kong Palace Museum booth at Fine Art Asia 2021.

Collectors and art lovers enjoyed the wide range of art and antiques on display at the Private Preview of Fine Art Asia 2021 on Thursday, 7 October.

 Fine Art Asia 2021 is open to the public from Friday 8 October – Monday 11 October, at Hall 3, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
