Exhibited Artist: Jiang Bingqing
Artasus Fine Art is the exclusive agency representing Shanghai artist Jiang Bingqing. Born in 1961, Jiang received training from art masters Wu Guanzhong and Zhang Yimin during his apprenticeship and has since been recognised as one of China’s prominent modern pioneer artists in Chinese art. He holds various licences and awards in China, including membership in the China Artists Association and the license of China Senior Craftsman Artist. He has also received prestigious awards such as the “Shanghai Craftsman Medal” and “2014 Shanghai Top 10 Public Environmental Artist.”
Jiang has been appointed by the Chinese government to organise significant international cultural and diplomatic events. Since the 1980s, he has curated global exhibitions in countries such as Austria, Canada, Mexico, and Panama on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. Additionally, he served as the Fresco Architect for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the Chief Artist for the 2018 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit et cetera.
