Artists Susan Yeung and Ada Chan co-founded Breathe Life Arts and Culture. Its mission is to raise public awareness of environmental issues through arts and culture. Inclusive of mediums such as visual arts, short films, and music, artists from Hong Kong share their perceptions of society and its core values through the platforms the gallery creates each year.
The gallery has hosted over 20 exhibitions in various cities, including Seoul, Shanghai, and Beijing. In addition to its artistic engagement, the gallery has also been involved in environmental preservation initiatives, such as contributing to WWF’s 2012 “Earth Hour” event in Shanghai and collaborating with Hong Kong Ocean Park.
