A bamboo root prunus waterpot

The waterpot is carved from bamboo root in the form of a flowering prunus bud, each petal curled inward in high relief. The base consists of a coiled network of blossoming prunus branches.
The bamboo root is deeply patinated to a dark caramel colour.
