Friends of Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA Friends) is a registered charity founded in 1991 to support and promote the activities of the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) and to enhance interest in the visual arts in Hong Kong. Through its membership programme, HKMoA Friends organises private viewings of exhibitions, lectures, gallery tours and other cultural activities, as well as overseas tours led by specialists. In recent years, HKMoA Friends have travelled to numerous locations in China including Dunhuang and Yunnan; also to Mongolia, Mexico, Burma, Northern Europe, Northern India and Sri Lanka.
